Veteran singer Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah popularly known in the industry as Mzbel has dismissed claims that her son, Aaron Adepa Gyesi also known as Okomfo Black is the son of the estranged musician, Castro underfire.
According to her, Okomfo Black knows his father and has been engaging with him, thus, urged the public to treat the rumours that Castro is her son’s father with the contempt that it deserved.
Mzbel said this during an interview with Max TV’s e-Quick show in Accra on Monday where she said she was not worried about the allegations since her son knew his real father.
She noted that Afia Schwarzenegger who spread the false paternity information about her son actually knew the father.
However, she was unaware that the person was the real father of Okomfo Black.
Mzbel explained that she was an open book but when it comes to matters of her relationship, she kept it private even from her friends.
She admitted that she gave birth to Okomfo Black when Castro was alive but at that time Castro was no longer her friend.
“We were three friends, myself, Shilo and Screw face but it got to a point that Castro wanted to dine with the wealthy guys so he started to reset his friendship zone and was rolling with footballers. Around that time, we ended our friendship years later before I even got pregnant to Adepa,” Mzbel said.
She further urged those who were eager to know the father of her son to search for the man with the surname Gyesi since Castro’s real name was Theophilus Tagoe.
