My boys were tactically disciplined against Medeama – Samuel Boadu

Date:

Head Coach of Accra Hearts of Oak Samuel Boadu says his players were tactically disciplined when they beat Medeama 2-0 in a Ghana Premier League matchday 29 game.

Hearts beat Medeama to go three points clear of their closest contenders, Kotoko who plays Inter Allies next.

After the game, Samuel Boadu speaking to the StarTimes praised his players and said they were tactically disciplined.

“My boys listened to instructions and they were tactically disciplined and did what I told them perfectly”. I knew the game would be physical so I told my boys to relax their nerves and they did that”.

Goals from Ibrahim Salifu and Benjamin Afutu were enough to hand the Phobians vital three points.

Hearts of Oak have been on a roll in the past weeks, a run that has seen them ascend the summit of the league log on 53 points.

The Phobians have won their last 7 games, scoring 14 and conceding just 4 goals along this stretch.
