Moesha Boduong paralyzed and suffering speech impairment

Date:

Renowned socialite Moesha Boduong has allegedly revealed that she is half paralyzed and suffering speech impairment after being hit by a stroke.

One of her legs and hands are not functioning while she barely talks.

The actress revealed this in a recent interview with a blogger where she expressed gratitude for even surviving her condition, under which her brother, Ebito Boduong, raised a “GoFundMe” account for her early this year.

“I went off completely, and I was in bed for several months. I couldn’t walk, I couldn’t talk, and I couldn’t do anything. I thank God I am better now. As you can see, I talk now even though I am still struggling to speak properly. Half of my body is paralyzed now. One of my legs and one of my hands are not functioning now. So I can’t type on the phone now; I can only talk on the phone,”  she disclosed.

Moesha remained optimistic that God would heal her to become the “global superstar” she wanted to be.

She also used the opportunity to thank all those who contributed to the GoFundMe account, which was meant to raise funds to cater for her medical bills, and assured that the money was used for its intended purpose.

“Though we haven’t been able to raise the target of US $10,000, approximately GHC123,600 to cover the medical expenses. As of now, US$5,158 has been raised, and every dollar raised is being used for its purpose accordingly,” she added.
