Actress Belinda Naa Ode Oku, known in the industry as Adwoa Smart, has attributed her career excellence to her diminutive stature.

She noted that she might not have risen to fame if not for his distinctive physical nature.

The actress who rose to fame with the popular teleseries “Obra” in the 90s and early 2000s said in a recent interview that her stature had been a blessing to her.

“I am very happy with the way God created me! Maybe if He hadn’t created me like this, I wouldn’t be a superstar,” she said.

Reflecting on how her height had helped her, Adwoa Smart said her unique appearance attracted so much attention and customers to her when she was selling goods at Circle, a popular commercial hub in Accra.

“I sell… People buy my goods just because of my unique appearance… It got to a point where other sellers were hiring me just to sit behind their goods so that my presence would attract people to buy from them,” she recounted.

The talented actress also advised people to embrace how God created them because it might be a blessing in disguise.

“Irrespective of how God created you, be content… He has a purpose for doing that,” she advised.
