The Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet) has issued a warning about the approach of two rainstorms expected to hit the country on Thursday, May 16.
As per the morning forecast, the first storm from Nigeria is anticipated around 9:30 am, with heavy rainfall, strong winds, and thunderstorms expected in coastal and northern regions.
GMet cautioned of the risk of flooding and wind damage, advising residents in vulnerable areas to stay vigilant and take precautions.
The recent severe rainstorm caused destruction in Accra, with fallen trees damaging cars and billboards.
