Nigerian musician Burna Boy has cancelled his upcoming concert slated for June 9 at the Johan Cruyff Arena in the Netherlands.
He announced this on his Instagram page on Thursday, citing the failure of the event organizers to fulfill their end of the bargain as the reason for the cancellation.
Expressing his disappointment, Burna Boy apologized for the inconvenience and assured to refund the money of fans who had already purchased tickets.
He said they would receive full refunds directly from the original point of sale within the next 30 days.
“We regret to inform you that due to a failure by the event organisers to meet their contracted obligations, Burna Boy’s concert at the stadium on June 9, 2024, has been cancelled,” Burns Boy stated.
