Head coach of the Black Stars, Chris Hughton, together with some other members of the technical team, has inspected the pitch of the Baba Yara Sports Stadium ahead of the preparation match with Namibia on Monday, January 8, 2024.
The game is expected to help the national teams of the two countries prepare well for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
Prior to Monday’s friendly match against Namibia, Hughton hopes will improve in the coming days.
Following the friendly, the Black Stars will stay in Kumasi for two more days before departing for the 2023 AFCON in Ivory Coast.
