In the disturbing clip, a woman can be seen holding her husband on her shoulders as she walks down the street as the crowd cheers, despite the woman looking distressed.
The incident took place in Borpadaw Village in India on July 3 this year, when the woman went missing for a week, according to reports.
Her husband and in-laws decided to report her missing after searching for her all week and trying to track her down, but with no success. The missing person’s report was filed, and that is when a member of the public came forward and told officials she was residing at her boyfriend’s house, which revealed their affair.
As a form of public shaming, the woman was made to carry her husband on her shoulders and forced to parade the neighborhood as the public urges her on as they laugh and encourage the horrific scenes.
This was after the unidentified woman was allegedly beat up and slammed on the ground by her husband after finding out about the affair.
And on either side of the woman, there are two more men who help hold up the man and can be seen cheering with excitement, despite the woman looking visibly distressed and in pain.
Behind them, a mass crowd appears to be following the ordeal, as their scrambled voices can be heard in the background as they walk down the street in the shameful scenes.
