Chelsea have announced Mauricio Pochettino’s appointment as the club’s new permanent head coach.
The former Tottenham Hotspurs coach has signed an initial two-year deal that also includes a club option of an additional year.
The Argentinian will commence his official duties as the club’s new head coach on July 1 ahead of next season. Pochettino joins his new club with his trusted backroom team, including Jesus Perez, Miguel d’Agostino, goalkeeper coach Toni Jimenez plus son and fitness coach Sebastiano Pochettino.
Mauricio Pochettino replaces Englishman, Graham Potter, who was sacked in April.
