Black Stars captain Andre Dede Ayew had a debut to forget for Le Havre against Nantes in the French Ligue 1 on Sunday afternoon.
The former FIFA World Cup U-20 winner made a long-awaited return to club football on Sunday, away at Nantes, after having not been signed on with a club since leaving English Premier League side Nottingham Forest in the summer.
Ayew came on as a substitute to replace French-born Hungarian defender Loïc Négo in the 65th minute, only to be shown a red card two minutes later for a clumsy tackle on his opposing player.
Le Havre managed to hold on for a point to stay in 8th place on the league table.
