LIGUE 1: Alidu Seidu sees red in Clermont Foot’s loss

Saturday’s Ligue 1 match between Clermont Foot and RC Lens ended in a loss for Ghanaian international Alidu Seidu against his compatriot Samed Abdul Samed.

Before the half at Stade Gabriel Montpied, the Black Stars defender was dismissed. Seidu and his coach Pascal Gastien’s red cards cost Clermont Foot after they lost the match week 13 encounter 3-0 at home against Lens.

After just 11 minutes of play, Lens took the lead into halftime thanks to a goal from France international Elye Wahi.

Adrien Thomasson and Wesley scored goals to give Lens a commanding lead, as Lens clinched maximum points in the second half.
