Kotoko’s defeat on WK 26 : I can’t tell what was wrong with my players against Legon Cities – Nartey Ogum

Date:

Dr. Prosper Nartey Ogum, Asante Kotoko’s head coach, appeared disoriented in his post-match interview on Sunday afternoon following the team’s 3-1 loss to Legon Cities FC.

The coach stated in his interview that he has no idea what was wrong with his players on the field of play.

Coach Prosper Nartey Ogum said “I can’t really tell…They looked so slow on the field of play, their movement wasn’t the usual movement. I can’t really tell what was actually wrong with them on the field.”

The Asante Kotoko coach has galvanized his troops to move ahead to the next challenge, putting the setback behind them.

He stated that his side will put in a lot of effort in training this week in order to return to winning ways on the next matchday.

“It’s a game over so we only have to make sure that we get back and do the right things for the next game,” Coach Prosper Nartey Ogum shared.

Despite their 3-1 loss against Legon Cities FC, Asante Kotoko are still in first place on the Ghana Premier League table.

The reds are still the front-runners to win the Ghana Premier League in 2022/23.
