KOTOKO NEWS: 11-players sacked

Ghana Premier League side, Kumasi Asante Kotoko has announced the departure of ten players in a significant overhaul following the conclusion of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.

The club, known as the Porcupine Warriors, is poised for a restructuring ahead of the upcoming campaign.

Among those released are the club’s captain, Danlad Ibrahim, whose season has been marked by some uncertainty, as he expressed hesitation to play on occasions when the opportunity arose. Additionally, striker George Mfegue, who had an impressive 26 appearances and three goals last season, surprisingly featured in only 12 games this term.

Highly regarded Isaac Oppong also finds himself on the list of players released.

3. Isaac Oppong
4. Augustine Agyapong
5. Nicholas Mensah
6. John Tedeku
7. Sherif Mohammed (Defender)
8. George Mfegue
9. Serge Eric Zeze
10. Danlad Ibrahim
