Rapper turned Singer, King Paluta has expressed excitement over his song “Aseda” being featured in the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
According to him he was popping champagne to mark the milestone in his career where his music is being used to boost education.
King Paluta who gained a spot in this year’s TGMA Artiste of the year nominations, in an X Post on June 17 shared his joy about this development.
“I don’t know if it’s really true but I heard there was a question in the BECE exams today about me. I’m popping the champagne already,” he tweeted.
In the Section B of the Music and Creative Arts paper of the examination, candidates were asked to name two significant social issues that King Paluta’s popular song “Aseda” addresses in Question 4(c) of the paper.
“King Paluta, whose real name is Thomas Adjei Wireko, is a Ghanaian musician known for blending traditional rhythm, storytelling, and modern hip-hop beats in his music. One of his most popular songs, ‘Aseda’ carries deep messages that address important issues in Ghanaian society. Identify two of these issues,” the question read.
Being featured in the Creative Art examination has portrayed King Paluta as one of the unique stars whose creative piece was being recognized for its rich lyrics and educational content.
