JUST IN: PSG Join Barcelona In Race To Sign Williams

Date:

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly joined Barcelona in the race to sign Athletic Bilbao winger, Nico Williams.

The Spain international has been strongly linked with a move to Barcelona.

Williams is also said to favour a move to the Blaugurana.

Barca have already put up a contract offer for the 22-year-old Spaniard and are expecting a positive answer from the Athletic Bilbao.

Premier League teams have also showed interest in Williams. Arsenal and Chelsea are eager to sign him, but they believe the procedure to do so would be too costly.

According to The Athletic as echoed by Barca Universal PSG have expressed interest in luring Williams to the Parc Des Princes.

The Ligue 1 champions have already initiated preliminary discussions regarding the prospect of acquiring the winger, whose deal with the Basque club expires in 2027 and include a release clause valued at approximately €58 million.
