Asante Kotoko’s latest signing, Isaac Mintah, has expressed his delight at joining the club, describing it as a significant milestone in his career.
The 26-year-old forward was unveiled during the January transfer window after joining the Porcupine Warriors on a free transfer. Mintah’s contract will keep him at the club for the remainder of this season and the next two, as Kotoko strengthens its squad.
Speaking on his move, Mintah pledged to contribute to the club’s success.
“I’m thrilled to join Kotoko; this is a huge moment in my career. This club has a strong winning tradition, and I’m ready to be part of it,” he said.
Acknowledging the competition for spots, particularly in the attacking lineup, Mintah added, “The competition here motivates me to push harder and improve every day. I’m here to give my best and help the team achieve greatness.”
Mintah, known for his goal-scoring prowess, arrives with an impressive track record. In the 2023/24 season, he netted nine goals and provided three assists in just 11 games.
The former Aduana FC and Legon Cities star will compete with Kwame Opoku, Albert Amoah, and others for a place in Kotoko’s attack as he looks to make an immediate impact.
