Former Black Stars forward Yaw ‘Rush’ Preko has questioned Inaki William’s impact on the Black Stars of Ghana.
The Basque-born striker switched nationality allegiance to Ghana as his younger brother Nico remained loyal to Spain.
Inaki, alongside Coventry’s Brandon Thomas-Asante, was excused from the national team by the Ghana Football Association after sustaining injuries.
Having been often criticised for his performances while with the national team, Yaw Preko wondered about Inaki’s contribution to the team.
“Inaki Williams has no impact on the Black Stars,” Yaw Preko said on Max FM’s Sports Pack show.
In 25 matches for Ghana, the Athletic Bilbao star has underwhelmingly managed just two minutes.
