Hasaacas Ladies suffer humbling 3-0 defeat to Nigeria’s Edo Queens

The defending Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League champions Hasaacas Ladies suffered a humbling 3-0 defeat to Edo Queens of Nigeria.

The Hasmal Ladies took on their Nigerian counterpart at the Bouake Stadium on Wednesday, August 14, at 4 p.m., hoping for a better result after drawing blank with Burkinabe side Omnisports Etincelle in their opening game.

Goalkeeper Grace Banwah captained the Ghanaians as a strong team was fielded by assistant coach Emmanuel Kwesi Mensah to face the Nigerians, who proved much stronger to end the game 3-0 victors.

Hasaacas Ladies will go into their final game against AS Garde National, targeting a much better outcome to stand a chance of progressing to the next stage.
