Former West Ham United defender Anton Ferdinand has voiced his happiness at the acquisition of Ghanaian player Mohammed Kudus.
The midfielder for the Black Stars transferred from Ajax Amsterdam to the Hammers during the summer transfer window on a five-year contract.
After Kudus was unveiled at the London Olympic Stadium, Rio Ferdinand’s younger brother, Ferdinand, approached him and offered some advice.
“I think your honesty you showed in that interview is something that our fans here will love in you as a footballer. I think any new player who comes to this fantastic football club should know that, you work hard first, you play second, which sounds like you, you work hard, play second and you will entertain the fans and when you do that the fans will love you forever,” he told Kudus.
