Ghana Premier League side, Kpando Heart of Lions, have parted ways with coach Salifu Fatawu.
Since rejoining the league, the sole Volta Region representative team in Ghana’s premier football level has not won a single game and is currently buried in the bottom of the standings.
Following an outstanding 2022–23 campaign in the Division One Super League, Fatawu guided Heart of Lions back to the Ghana Premier League in the 2023–24 campaign.
In response to the bad run of play, the club’s leadership has mutually parted ways.
