Ghana Premier League (GPL) club Berekum Chelsea have been charged by the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
The Berekum-based club are alleged to have breached the GFA Regulations 2025, and Enhanced Matchday Safety and Security Protocols in their 2025/26 GPL season opener against Asante Kotoko on Saturday.
A certain unauthorized Mr Obed Nana Nketia, according to the GFA’s statement, was allowed by the club in the inner perimeter of the stadium, and failed to display the names of its on the back of their jerseys.
Having been given till Tuesday, September 16, to respond to the charges, Chelsea are also alleged to have failed to organize the mandatory pre-match briefing for their head coach.
