GoldStars Sack Frimpong Manso; Konadu to Take Over

Date:

Defending champions of the Ghana Premier League Bibiani Goldstars have parted ways with their head coach Frimpong Manso.

This shocking move from Ghana’s ‘best club’ comes after a disappointing home loss to JS Kabylie in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup first preliminary round on Sunday, September 21.

The former Asante Kotoko player, Frimpong Manso, who joined GoldStars from Bofoakwa Tano in 2023 successfully led them to the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League title.

With the home defeat against the Algerian giants, GoldStars are now faced with a daunting task of usurping their rivals in the return in far away Algiers next weekend.

The Western North side are set to be led by for Black Leopards manager Maxwell Konadu.
