Renowned actress, Christiana Awuni says God has punished popular Counselor, Reverend Charlotte Oduro for speaking against women who are divorced.
According to her, Counselor Charlotte has over the years insulted and blamed divorced women for disrespecting their husbands.
Speaking in an exclusive interview on Max TV at the maiden edition of its flagship entertainment program dubbed e-Quick in Accra on Monday, the actress said Charlotte also disrespected her husband and was not submissive, hence her divorce.
“If she was also submissive to her husband would she have been divorced by her husband?” She queried.
Christiana Awuni demanded Charlotte to publicly apologize for talking ill of married women whose marriages turned sour.
“Perhaps she was also punished by God for everything she said against her fellow women who unfortunately got divorced,” she said.
Christiana Awuni maintained that couples pass through a lot in marriage so it would be mere hypocrisy when a counselor makes her fellow woman topic whenever divorce happens.
Her comments follow the current divorce statement released by Apostle Solomon Oduro who had publicly declared that he had officially ended his marriage with Charlotte after three years of separation.
The divorce of the popular Counselor has sparked conversations on social media due to her constant demeaning words against divorced women.
Old videos of Charlotte also showed her claiming that nothing would make her divorce her husband, not even catching him red-handed in the act of cheating.
