The Black Stars of Ghana have been boosted by the arrival of eleven more players ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations double header qualifiers against Sudan.
Otto Addo and his technical team led the team through the first training session ahead of the first of the two-legged matches against Sudan at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday, October 7, with just eleven players, including captain Jordan Ayew, who had reported for camp.
Henry Asante Twum, the Communication Director of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), confirmed on Max FM that eleven more players had arrived at the camping base ahead of the team’s second training session on Tuesday evening.
New call-ups Michael Baidoo and Ibrahim Sadiq are amongt the new arrivals, also consisting of Jerome Opoku, Tariq Lamptey, Majeed Ashimeru, Ernest Nuamah, Alidu Seidu, Abdul Mumin, Alexander Djiku, Inaki Williams, Ibrahim Sulemana, and Lawrence Ati-Zigi.
Cercle Brugge’s Francis Abu and FC Basel’s Jonas Adjetey are expected to join the team on Wednesday before the first leg comes off on Thursday, October 10 at the Accra Sports Stadium at 4 p.m.
