GFA Charges Abednego Tetteh

Date:

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has officially charged Abednego Tetteh with misconduct under Article 34(6)(d) of the Ghana Premier League Regulations, 2019.

The charge stems from his media commentary on the Ghana Premier League, which the GFA alleges has brought the game into disrepute.

According to the regulatory body, Tetteh’s remarks have been deemed inappropriate and in violation of the professional standards expected from football stakeholders. The player has until Wednesday, March 5, 2025, to formally respond to the charges.

This development highlights the GFA’s continued efforts to maintain discipline and professionalism within Ghanaian football, ensuring that all public statements made by players, coaches, and officials uphold the integrity of the league.
