The new technical advisor of the Black Stars of Ghana, Winfred Schaeffer, appointed by the Ghana Football Association, is gearing up for a fruitful working relationship with Otto Addo.
Upon officially assuming his role on Monday, March 3, 2025, the experienced German tactical instructor has advised how important his cooperation with Black Stars head coach Otto Addo would improve be to the team.
“My role and my experience is very important. I want help. Otto, we have talked, I’m not the head coach. Otto is the head coach. And maybe I see one thing we can make better when we work together.
I’m not the man to tell that this is not good or bad. No, we have to talk. We have to work as a team. Yeah. And in, in German, we say four eyes are better than two eyes,” he said.
The two German-trained tacticians are expected to work in tandem for the improvement of the men’s senior national team of Ghana.
Otto Addo would announce a new squad for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad in Accra on March 17 and Madagascar in Casablanca on March 24.
