FOOTBALL: Sadick Adams hangs up his boots

Date:

Former Ghanaian youth star, Sadick Adams, has officially announced his retirement from professional football at the age of 33. He shared this news with his fans and followers through a post on his Facebook page.

During his career, Adams represented a total of 16 clubs, including notable teams such as Berekum Chelsea, Asante Kotoko, Ashanti Gold, Atlético Madrid B, Vojvodina, Étoile du Sahel, Shabab Bourj, and Arambagh KS, among others.

In his announcement, Adams expressed the difficulty of making this decision but also highlighted the importance of reflection and gratitude. He recognized the privilege and honor he felt representing each of the clubs he played for.

While Adams admitted feeling a tinge of sadness, he expressed no regrets about his decision to retire. He acknowledged that he could no longer maintain the high standard of excellence that professional football demands.

His last appearance was for Arambagh in February 2021 during a Bangladesh Premier League match, where he played the full 90 minutes.

As Sadick Adams closes this chapter of his career, the football community reflects on his contributions to the game and wishes him all the best in his future endeavors.
