Highlife artiste Fameye only performed one song at the Up & Running Concert organized by Stonebwoy and his BHIM natives in London on Saturday March 8, due to insufficient rehearsal.
Media Personality, Caleb Nii Boye revealed this during a zoom interview with Max TV’s flagship entertainment program e-Quick on Tuesday.
According to him, fans and patrons were left unsatisfied and mesmerized when the “Sober” hitmaker only sang one song.
He explained that Fameye disclosed to him in an interview that he did not make it to the rehearsal session, thus sang one song just to play it safe.
Aside from Fameye, AraTheJay also set the stage ablaze with his electric performance.
The event formed part of Stonebwoy’s album tour which was successful as opposed to belief that the Up & Running Concert would flop since it conflicted with a star-studded 68th Independence concert which R2Bees, OliveTheBoy and King Paluta would perform.
The controversy cast several doubts about the potential of the 2k-capacity O2 Sheperd’s Bush Empire selling out in favour of Stonebwoy.
