Media Personality, Caleb Nii Boye has dismissed claims that organizers of BHIM’s “Up & Running” Concert gave free tickets to fill up the London 02 Sheperd’s Bush Empire on Saturday March 8.
According to him, Stonebwoy filled the arena with a capacity of over 2,000 with some patrons outside.
Speaking in a zoom interview with Max TV’s flagship entertainment program e-Quick on Tuesday, Nii Boye said the event was successful.
He expressed the need for critics to stop talking about free ticketing as nothing of that sort went on.
Nii Boye went further to suggest that the statement made by Alordia, the organizer of the star-studded 68th Ghana Independence concert was mere allegations that Stonebwoy reduced the price of his ticket just to fill up the 02.
He said Stonebwoy could indeed give free tickets to certain fans but could not give free tickets to all those who trooped the concert.
Nii Boye stated that the place was overflowing to an extent that some patrons had to remain outside.
It could be recalled the BHIM camp accused organizers of the Independence Day-themed concert within the diaspora of sabotage.
This happened after both camps scheduled their events for the same day, March 8, 2025 with the BHIM camp claiming they had originally planned for March 8 to host Stonebwoy’s album concert.
