#EuropaLeague: Alidu Seidu’s Rennes suffer big loss to AC Milan

Date:

Ghanaian star Alidu Seidu was in action for his new side, Stade Rennes, as they lost 3-0 in Milan to AC Milan in the round of 32 of the UEFA Europa League on Thursday night.

Despite coming on in the second half, the Ghanaian international could only help his side stop conceding more goals to the rampaging Rossoneri, who were already three goals up.

Former Chelsea player Ruben Loftus-Cheek bagged a first-half brace before the Ghanaian’s Portuguese nemisis, Rafael Leao, rounded off the victory with a goal in the 53rd minute of the first leg.

The French side now has a tall mountain to climb after this huge loss when they welcome the Italian giants to France for the second leg if they want to progress to the next round.
