As Germany gears up to host the UEFA Euro 2024, the nation has unveiled the ten stadiums set to stage the tournament across June and July.

Here’s a glimpse into the 10 iconic stadiums to host games of the best of footballing nations in Europe:

10 stadiums at Euro 2024

1. Allianz Arena

Kicking off the tournament fervor, Munich will witness the opening clash between hosts Germany and Scotland on June 14 at Bayern Munich’s stadium. Additionally, a semi-final showdown is scheduled for July 9, promising a spectacle for football enthusiasts.

2. Olympiastadion Berlin

The Olympiastadion Berlin, with its capacity of 71,000, sets the stage for the tournament’s finale on July 14. Having hosted the 2006 FIFA World Cup final, this iconic venue will witness six matches, including three electrifying knockout fixtures.

3. Cologne

Cologne Stadium, with a capacity of 43,000, enters the fray, having hosted the 2020 UEFA Europa League final. Five matches, including two featuring Switzerland, are set to enthral fans at this renowned venue.

4. Dortmund

BVB Stadion Dortmund, famed for its “Yellow Wall” of supporters, will host a semi-final clash, concluding its six-match stint.

5. Düsseldorf

Fortuna Düsseldorf’s home ground, Düsseldorf Arena, gets its chance to shine on the European stage, hosting several EURO 2024 matches after missing out on the 2006 FIFA World Cup.

6. Frankfurt

The Frankfurt Arena, with its capacity of 47,000, promises a thrilling encounter as Germany faces Switzerland in a group-stage showdown. Pre-tournament favorites England will also grace this stadium in a clash against Denmark.

7. Gelsenkirchen

Arena AufSchalke, renowned for its memorable past hosting the 2004 UEFA Champions League final, braces itself for four EURO 2024 matches, including the enticing Spain vs Italy clash.

8. Hamburg

Volksparkstadion Hamburg, a familiar site from the 2006 FIFA World Cup, will see action once more, hosting EURO 2024 matches, including Italy’s games en route to victory.

9. Leipzig

RB Leipzig’s Leipzig Stadium, the largest in eastern Germany, is set to witness a series of thrilling group-stage encounters and a last-16 match.

10. Stuttgart

The Stuttgart Arena, home to VfB Stuttgart, will welcome Germany for a crucial group-stage clash against Hungary before hosting a quarter-final fixture, rounding off the tournament’s southwestern leg.
