Black Stars defender Tariq Lamptey limped off in Brighton’s 3-1 win over Nottingham Forest in the English Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Lamptey was compelled to alert the physiotherapist that he could not play on after taking a knock in the 34th minute, forcing him to be replaced by Jack Hinshelwood.
Former Manchester United youngster Anthony Elanga had opened the scoring just three minutes into the first half before Manchester United target, Evans Ferguson equalised.
Brighton’s second and third goals were added by Joao Pedro. In the 76th minute, Morgan Gibbs-White scored the second goal for Nottingham.
