Ekow Eduakwa Sam appointed BPA boss

Date:

Ekow Eduakwa Sam has been appointed the acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bui Power Authority.

Mr. Sam takes over from Samuel Kofi Ahiave Dzamesi, who began his former role on September 3, 2024.

Ing. Dzamesi, though marking the challenges and achievements during his tenure, cited the need for teamwork and professionalism, which was crucial for his “success,” before stepping down.

“I am delighted to hand over to Mr. Sam, who comes with a wealth of experience from the energy sector. I am confident that he will build on the foundation we have laid and take BPA to even greater heights,” Mr. Dzamesi said as he presented his handover notes to Ing. Sam.

Ing. Sam comes with a lot of experience, having been an electrical engineer for over 25 years, and is expected to run his office with integrity and professionalism.
