The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has named Heart of Lions bankroller, Dr Randy Abbey, as Chairman of the Black Stars Management Committee.
Dr Abbey, also a member of the Executive Council of the GFA, will, together with the members of the Management Committee, take charge of the administrative and logistical needs of the team.
He will be assisted by former captain of the Black Stars, Stephen “Tornado” Appiah, as Vice Chairman. Following his enviable international career with the Black Stars, he once served as a member of the technical team of the Black Stars during the era of C.K. Akonnor.
Samuel Aboabire, Chairman of the Greater Accra Regional Football Association, and the owner of Medeama FC, Moses Armah Parker, have been charged with Operations and Match Day activities as well as satisfying the needs of “Sponsors, Partners and other Collaborators.”
President of the defending champions of the Ghana Premier League, Mr. Richard Nsenkyire, will see to special duties.
The newly appointed committee will ensure every need of the Black Stars is met in bid of team reaching its set targets.
