#DemocracyCup: Kotoko will beat Hearts for 3rd time – Ocloo

Date:

All attention will be on the Democracy Cup at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday night at 5 p.m. when the two biggest and most successful clubs in Ghana go head-to-head once more.

Accra Hearts of Oak will take on bitter rivals Asante Kotoko in the maiden edition of the Democracy Cup in celebration of parliamentary democracy.

In a press conference ahead of the match on Tuesday, July 16, assistant head coach of the Porcupine Warriors, David Ocloo, bragged about his side’s readiness and eagerness to beat their rivals for the third time in the 2023–24 season.

“I can tell you we have prepared well.We will infuse the new with the old players. They’re going to give us a good match, and we are going to take the cup. We have beaten them twice already, and we are ready to beat them again.”

The Phobians have suffered defeats in their two meetings with Kotoko in 2023 and 2024 and have now been presented with the opportunity to win the first ever Democracy Cup.

You can watch the game live on Max TV Ghana (YouTube).
