#Cook-a-thon: Chef Faila thanks fans despite failure

The record attempt by Ghanaian chef Faila Abdul-Razak to set a personal record for the longest cooking marathon failed.

Her failure was ascribed to her incapacity to “meet the stringent guidelines set for the Guinness World Records,” according to a statement from her managers.

Chef Faila did, however, thank the Ghanaians who turned up in large numbers to support her.
