Budding singer, Cina Soul has expressed disappointment in those lambasting her over a dress believed to have exposed her private parts.
According to her, the dress was part of an art put together to promote her new album titled “Did I Lie.”
In an X post on Tuesday, April 1 to condemn critics who found her baggy dress offensive in the viral dance video, the “Killi Mi” hitmaker descended heavily on media houses giving their outlets for critics to insult personalities.
Her post follows a recent attack on her personality on Max TV Morning Show during an entertainment review segment on Monday, when Kumawood actor Big Akwes lamented on how the singer was ruining her modest brand to attention seeking outfits.
Cina Soul said it was the reason she failed to appear on certain media houses and certain presenters’ entertainment shows for an interview.
She bemoaned that she spent a lot on her album but the media was not promoting it, instead trumpeting the irrelevant side to promote sensationalism.
”You see o. This is why I choose who/where I interview. I spent so much of my own money to make and promote this album, and not a single word from any of them, but let Cina Soul wear some crop top and cargo pants for some dance content, and it sends them into a frenzy because “fiRsT nO nA )nDreZi sei” (she didn’t dress like this at first). I just want to make music, bro,” Cina Soul said.
Meanwhile, management of Max TV has apologized for the unpalatable words used by Big Akwes to discredit her dressing.
