Eugene Baah of Praye musical group fame shared an emotional tribute to his fallen wife, actress Beverly Afaglo, during her 43rd birthday.

‎According to him, he would have wished to join her but had to remain to take care of her back and their children.

The choirmaster, who is coming to terms with the loss of his wife in an emotional tribute on social media, prayed that Afaglo’s soul would be kept in the bosom of God.

‎“It’s your birthday today in Heaven, and I wish I could join you… But you know I gotta stay in this … world to take care of the girls!! Your passing has made me realize how much Ghanaians admired the love that we shared. Rest on Superstar!!! Happy Birthday,” he wrote.

‎The actress’ death has since remained surprising news to those who were unaware of her sickness.

‎She died on Sunday, May 24, 2026, and her one week was observed on Saturday, May 30.
