Captain Junior Nduka, has revealed the reason behind the car gift from the club’s owner Kunle Soname.
Nduka said his refusal to accept a move to Nigeria Professional Football League side Lobi Stars prompted the club’s decision.
He said the action was a show of appreciation from the club to his dedication to the team.
“It was during our time in the Nigeria National League then when I had offer from NPFL side Lobi Stars,” he told Abu Azeez podcast.
“Lobi Stars were in contact with Remo Stars so the chairman came to ask if a bigger club comes for me will I accept.
“Which I told him no that my aim is to secure promotion with Remo Stars.
“After securing the promotion all I saw was a car to appreciate my dedication to the club.”
