#BlackStarsAbroad: Ghana no.1 shot-stopper concedes SIX goals

Date:

Black Stars number one shot-stopper Lawrence Ati-Zigi conceded six goals to Francis Abu’s Cercle Brugge in UEFA Europa Conference League on Thursday night.

The Swiss side traveled to Brugge, Belgium, to take on Cercle, who have been struggling in the Belgian Pro League after three defeats in their last five league matches.

However, in Europe’s third-tier continental club competition, the Belgian club are topping the league standings thanks to a 6-2 victory at the Jan Breydel Stadium.

Alan Minda struck first for the home team just three minutes into the game, followed by Ahoueke Steeve Denkey’s hat-trick stunning the Black Stars goalkeeper, Ati-Zigi before Kevin Csoboth pulled one back for St. Gallen.

Gary Magnee added to more goals for Cercle to round off the rout, despite Felix Mambimbi scoring for St. Gallen.
