BLACK STARS ABROAD: Ernest Nuamah suffers defeat with Lyon

Date:

Black Stars highly-rated winger Ernest Nuamah suffered a demoralizing 3-0 defeat at the Stade Velodrome to Olympique Marseille with his Olympique Lyonnais side on Wednesday night.

The Ghanaian international only lasted 69 minutes, during which the damage had already been done.

Portuguese player Vitinha scored the first goal in the 21st minute with an assist from former Chelsea player Aubameyang.

The Gabonese turned provider again, this time for Michael Murillo, to double the lead for the hosts.

Aubameyang capped his man of the match performance with a goal for himself, as he netted the final goal for Gennaro Gattuso’s side.

Lyon have now played 14 league games with just 7 points to show, lingering with relegation.
