Black Queens Safety In UAE Assured Amid Iran Attacks

Date:

The Black Queens of Ghana have received a morale-booster visit in camp in the United Arab Emirates.

Officials from the Ghana mission in the UAE assured the Black Queens of their safety amid the ongoing geopolitical conflicts in the Gulf region.

The Queens travelled to Dubai last week to partake in the Pink Cup.

Ghana hammered China’s Hong Kong 4-0 in their first match on Saturday before the political conflicts began.

Led by the Consular Officer, Percy Okudzeto, Consul and Head of Chancery, Abdul-Jalil Sigli Yakubu Abdulai, and Head of Transport, Anas Shaibu, assured the team of the government’s support.

“We want the team to stay calm and focus on the competition. The government and the embassy are doing everything possible to ensure your safety and well-being,” said H.E. Percy Okudzeto.
