Bellingham to miss Real Madrid-Dortmund FIFA CWC clash

Date:

Jobe Bellingham will miss the highly anticipated match-up against his brother, Jude, and Real Madrid in the quarter-final of the FIFA Club World Cup.

Jobe helped his new side, Dortmund, beat Mexican giants Monterrey 2-1 in the round of 16 of the tournament to book a date with Real Madrid in the next round.

The 19-year-old star will miss the game against his brother after picking up a yellow card.

Guinea’s Serhou Guirassy scored twice within 10 minutes for the Bundesliga side to send them through despite German Berterame pulling one back for Monterrey.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid dominated Juventus despite a slim 1-0 margin win over the Italian side in the first game on Tuesday.

Youngster Gonzalo Garcia scored the only goal of the game, while Juventus goalie Di Gregio made outstanding saves to keep the goal margin to one.
