Kwaku Danso, head coach of Bechem United, has set an ambitious top-four finish in the 2024-25 Ghana Premier League, with eyes on the MTN FA Cup title.
Bechem United are unbeaten in the last seven games in all competitions and currently sit fourth in the league standings.
“The start of our season was blighted by injuries, and the new recruits, who were second division players, were struggling to adapt to the top division,” he recounted on Max FM’s Sports Pack show.
The race for the league title is very close, but we aim for a top-four finish, and the MTN FA Cup is the one we are determined to lay our hands on,” Danso added.
The Hunters quenched the fiery threat of Nations FC in the round of 32 of the 2024-25 MTN FA Cup to place themselves in a better position for the hunt for the trophy to represent Ghana at next season’s CAF Confederations Cup.
