Rapper Sarkodie has dismissed claims that he posted a video of a man with one leg on his Instagram Story to mock his colleague, Afro-dancehall musician Stonebwoy.
According to him, he is not the type of person to go that route.
Speaking in a recent media interview, Sarkodie explained that the video was posted for its comic appeal and not to mock Stonebwoy.
“For me to think about somebody and try to mock the person that way… No. If it’s a rap beef, that one is quite different because of the buzz, but if it is about this, you don’t joke with things like that. You don’t know what can happen to your kids. So if I see anybody thinking that, I wouldn’t, no matter what it is,” he stated.
Sarkodie said he did not understand why people were reading meanings into the post but chose to remain silent because he did not want to try to convince people to support him.
Meanwhile, Stonebwoy had earlier addressed the issue, claiming that Sarkodie posted the video to mock his disability, thinking his Wembley Arena concert was a flop.
