Kofi Owusu Peprah Live Draws Thousands Of Believers

The 2026 edition of Kofi Owusu Peprah Live, held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, brought together thousands of believers at the forecourt of ICGC Evangel Temple at New Dawhenya for a memorable night of worship, praise and thanksgiving.

The annual gospel gathering attracted Christians from different parts of the country, with worshippers turning up in their numbers to celebrate their faith and lift their voices in praise to God.

The venue was filled with excitement as individuals, families, young people and church groups made their way to the ICGC Evangel Temple forecourt. By the time the main programme got underway, the place had become a lively gathering of believers ready to worship and enjoy an evening of gospel music.

The highly anticipated event featured some of the respected names in Ghana’s gospel music and ministry space.

Minister Kofi Owusu Peprah, who headlined the event, delivered a powerful performance that had the crowd singing along and worshipping throughout his set. Known for his energetic delivery and worship-centred music, he used the occasion to lead the thousands gathered into an atmosphere of praise.

Also performing on the night was Team Eternity, whose appearance added another exciting dimension to the programme. The group connected with the audience through their energetic performance, with many of the young people joining in.

Enuonyam also took the stage and treated the audience to a refreshing gospel performance, while Pastor Sammie Obeng Poku brought his own touch to the programme, combining ministry and music as he engaged the congregation.

Speaking after the successful event, Kofi Owusu Peprah expressed his profound gratitude to God for making the programme possible. He also paid tribute to his late father, Rev. George Owusu Mensah, for the important role he played in shaping his journey as a gospel musician. He said his father’s influence, guidance and contribution to his music career remain a significant part of his story.

He said: “First of all, the Almighty God deserves all the praise and honour. Not forgetting the vigorous role my late beloved dad played in my journey as a gospel musician.”

Rev. George Owusu Mensah was also the composer of the much-loved gospel song “Matwen,” a song that has remained popular among gospel music lovers.

Kofi Owusu Peprah said his personal slogan, “Every time is worship time,” serves as a constant reminder of God’s greatness and the need for believers to maintain an attitude of worship in their daily lives.

He explained that worship should not be limited to church services or special gospel events but should become part of the believer’s everyday life.

The gospel musician also used the occasion to encourage Christians and other believers to support the work of God in whatever way they can. He said greater commitment and support towards gospel ministry would help take the message of Christ beyond Ghana and across the world.

For many of those who attended the event, the gathering was more than just a gospel concert. It was a time to give thanks, seek God’s presence and fellowship with other believers.

The atmosphere remained vibrant throughout the night as worshippers raised their hands, sang, danced and prayed together.

The 2026 Kofi Owusu Peprah Live once again demonstrated the ability of gospel music and worship gatherings to bring people together in celebration of faith.

With the impressive turnout and performances from the artistes and ministers on the bill, the event ended on a high note, leaving attendees with memories of an evening centred on worship, thanksgiving and the celebration of God’s goodness.
