Senegal crashed out of WAFCON 2026 after playing out a 0-0 draw with Morocco in their final Group A match.

The Atlas Lionesses controlled much of the second half but could not find a breakthrough.

Morocco still finished the group stage at the top with seven points and secured a place in the quarter-finals.

Algeria secured their place in the quarter-finals of the CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations with a 2-0 victory over Kenya on Tuesday evening, sealing second place in Group A behind hosts Morocco.

Captain Marine Dafeur gave Algeria the perfect start in the 14th minute with a stunning long-range free-kick before Lynda Bedris forced an error to double the lead.
