At Least 10 Reported Dead In Oklahoma Shooting

Date:

At least 10 people were taken to the hospital after a shooting during a party near Arcadia Lake in Edmond, Oklahoma, on Sunday night, local police said.

The shooting occurred at around 9 p.m., Emily Ward — a spokesperson for the Edmond Police Department — told reporters during a press conference.

Police transported 10 victims to area hospitals in various conditions, Ward said.

“The total number of victims is expected to change as additional individuals transported themselves to area hospitals,” the Edmond Police Department said in a statement posted to X. “There is no update on victim conditions at this time.”

Police have not made any arrests, but do not believe there is a threat to the public, Ward said.
