IGP Yohuno Alive And Well— Ghana Police

The Ghana Police Service has refuted malicious rumours suggesting the death of the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Christian Tetteh Yohuno.

The police released an official statement on Facebook disputing the widespread rumours on Sunday, November 30, 2025.

IGP Yohuno is very much alive and attending to his duties as the top boss of the police service.

This comes after a proposed two-year extension of his mandate by the Police Council.
