Filmmaking in Nigeria is profitable than Ghana— Ricky Adelayitar

Date:

‎Famous actor Ricky Adelayitar says the population of Ghana is not helping in the development of the movie industry.

‎According to him, the Nigerian film industry is excelling due to its population and the rise in investors at the place.

‎Adelayitar said this during an exclusive interview on the Max Morning Show in Accra on Friday.

‎He stated that Ghanaians could not compare their movie industry to Nigeria due to the population difference.

‎”Our population is the problem. The population can help you gain money, but our population is not like the Nigerians, which one state could be like Ghana’s population,” Adelayitar said.

‎He further called for a collaborative effort by various stakeholders in the industry to help promote Ghanaian films.
